When we talk about art, the artist assumes a role of “interpreter” or “translator”, organizing the materials in a personal way.
We see images but our thoughts are structured in words. In linguistics, a letter is simply a sign and acquires a meaning only when it is articulated with other letters.
This exhibition is a reflection on the meaning of presentation – representation of the world around us and its symbolization through a language, in this case, the visual language.
From a piece of wood that I found, which I immediately associated with a roll of paper, this universe of transformations appeared. This exhibition is “a text” that invites, not to be deciphered, but to be re-read and re-written from our own and always unique look.
