This video was born in 2020 during the pandemic. Faced with the impossibility of leaving our homes, I began, without intending to, a journey without moving from the armchair in my living room. Then the magic happened!

A photo from when I was a child, sitting on my dad’s shoulders, began to move through time and space taking me to visit happy memories and also places plagued by monsters.

Objects that I collect reflected the history of childhood and old age.  Stories of exile and migration, strange characters that joined in, while I was just walking from the living room to the kitchen. My turtles sneaked through unusual places and my dog ​​wandered around surprised. Time passed and everything was still in the same place; but nothing was the same anymore.

Methododogy

I drew each stroke and each movement one by one “in the old-fashioned way”.

These drawings were incorporated into still shots of spaces filmed in my house by Mariana Sosnowski.
